Your Role

EF (Education First) Oxford International Language Campus is looking for an organized, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Student Services Coordinator.

Position Details

  • October - December Start Date
  • Full-time / Permanent
  • Monday - Friday or Sunday - Thursday

In this role, you’ll assist with the smooth running of the Student Services department, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction. You’ll help create a supportive and vibrant environment for international students, all while developing valuable skills in communication and operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service and support the smooth administration of the school
  • Support students in their daily life, helping them achieve the best possible experience
  • Maintain excellent relationships with Sales and other departments, ensuring prompt, consistent, and effective communication and service
  • Process incoming bookings and modifications
  • Contribute to an inclusive and welcoming community within the school
  • Participate in student intakes, including preparing welcome bags and producing student identification badges
  • Arrange arrival and departure transfers, liaising with airport representatives and taxi companies
  • Respond to general daily student enquiries
  • Assist with under-18 meetings and events
  • Support the analysis and follow-up of student evaluations, including scheduling follow-up chats and ensuring issues raised are addressed by the relevant department
  • Handle direct sales enquiries, including showing prospective students around the school, providing quotations, and ensuring enquiries are followed up
  • Share emergency phone duty on a rota basis
  • Support the Student Services team with student attendance, including monitoring daily registers and following up with non-attending students
  • Contribute to student initiatives and the delivery of school community events
  • Assist with welcoming events, sales trips, equipment deliveries, and mail
  • Keep the reception area clean, tidy, and professional at all times

  • Highly motivated, energetic, positive
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication & people skills
  • Confident with IT
  • Enjoys working in a busy & varied service environment
  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with ease & remain calm & positive under pressure
  • Flexible attitude to work and creative problem solver
  • All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references
  • Legally able to work in the UK at commencement of employment
