Student Welfare Manager

Aureus School are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Student Welfare Manager, who is motivated to work with passion and a relentless energy to make a significant difference to the students at our school who require that little bit extra guidance and support. This position will work alongside the SLT and established pastoral provision to support our young adults in achieving their potential, while also serving as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead (DDSL) for the school.

Your Opportunity

This rewarding role is a real chance to make a difference to the lives of the young people in our community. You will have a passion for supporting young people and a desire to help them develop confidence and skills to deal with the daily challenges they face. You will be part of the wider pastoral team, working with a Head of Year and parents and students alike. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to work closely with students, their families, teachers and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes for the student.

The Details

  • Start date: November 2026
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Salary: GLF Specialist 1-6 £28,009 - £29,250 FTE Actual salary £26,387 - £27,556
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (Term Time plus 2)
