About Map Project Office

At Map Project Office (part of the AKQA Group and WPP), we design products that make life feel simpler, smarter, and more human. From everyday objects to next-gen tech, our work sits at the intersection of design and innovation. We turn bold ideas into things people love to use. But what really defines Map is our culture. We’re a curious, collaborative team who believe the best ideas come from working openly together. Whether it’s partnering with start-ups or world-leading brands, we thrive on solving tough challenges and pushing design in new directions.

Studio Assistant / Front of House

The Studio Assistant / Front of House supports the smooth day-to-day running of the studio, acting as a welcoming first point of contact for clients, visitors, and the team. This is a varied, hands-on role covering studio administration, meetings, travel, events, facilities, and general support. We’re looking for someone organised, proactive, approachable, and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.

This is a part-time month fixed term studio services position working across Map Project Office, Universal Design, and Made Thought. Working days: Monday, Wednesday & Thursday

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
