Role Overview

We're looking for someone to join our team in Swadlincote as a Studio Assistant. In this role, you will support the smooth operation of the photography studio for the Liberty London website. Working with both the inhouse team, the head office and our warehouse you will play a key role in the delivery of assets across all categories.

The role is highly collaborative, requiring strong organisational and communication skills, and is well suited to someone who is proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the flow of stock in and out of the studio, ensuring items are tracked, logged, and returned to the warehouse in a timely manner.
  • Assist photographers and stylists with organising, steaming, and prepping stock ahead of and during shoots.
  • Schedule shoots in line with content deadlines and business priorities, working with the wider studio and content teams.
  • Keep internal and external teams and stakeholders informed on studio progress, flagging delays or issues proactively.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team to keep the stock file accurate and up to date, resolving discrepancies quickly.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient studio space, supporting the wider team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve studio workflows and stock-handling processes, feeding suggestions back to the Studio Manager.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
