Studio Co-ordinator/Administrator | £27,000 FTE | Full or Part-time
We’re looking for a brilliant Studio Coordinator to join our team in Milton Keynes.
Benchmark is an ambitious architectural practice with a brilliant team and big plans for the future. We're now looking for a Studio Coordinator to become a key part of our Milton Keynes studio. This is a varied role for someone who loves people as much as they love being organised. You'll help us create an exceptional experience for our clients, support the team behind the scenes and make sure our busy studio runs brilliantly. You might be looking for a full-time role, or you may need work to fit differently around your life now. We're open to both; for the right person, we'd be very happy to explore part-time or school-hours working.

What you'll be doing
- Creating a warm, professional welcome for our clients and visitors
- Managing calls and enquiries and making sure every interaction with Benchmark is a good one
- Keeping our studio organised, well stocked and looking its best
- Maintaining our CRM, project lists and key practice information
- Coordinating CPDs, Lunch & Learns and staff training
- Keeping our training matrix up to date and coordinating e-learning, First Aid and other workplace training
- Coordinating award entries, bids and framework submissions
- Managing day-to-day office H&S administration and records
- Organising team-building activities, charity days and studio events
- Arranging staff travel and accommodation when required
- Liaising with building management, cleaners and other suppliers
- Working with our social media consultant to make sure we're sharing the great work, people and stories coming out of the practice
Who we're looking for
We're looking for an administrator who gets satisfaction from making things happen. You'll be warm, confident and great with people, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to juggle lots of different things without losing track of the important stuff. You'll be proactive, comfortable taking ownership and willing to get stuck in. Just as importantly, you'll care about being part of a great team and contributing to the kind of place you want to come to work. You don't need experience in architecture or construction. We're much more interested in finding someone with the right skills, energy and approach.
