Job Description
The Role:
The opportunity available is for an experienced and results-driven Studio Lead to work with the Photography Team to transform the department, setting the standard and working with stakeholders to enable results. The candidate will need to be passionate about delivering results and elevating the customer experience. This is a fast-paced environment with huge potential for being able to identify and solve problems, adding value to the business and making a huge impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Studio Manager with the operations and day to day of the whole studio.
- Managing the Frasers Group Photography Guidelines, implementing high standards that maintain maximum consistency for our brands appearance online.
- Overseeing & elevating the team across all processes within the function including Photographers and Re-touchers with products for still life, model, and video.
- Managing, delegating and executing briefs set by wider team(s) ensuring a high standard of photography within the Frasers group values.
- Guiding a developing team with training, delivering FFR reviews, 1:1’s and to lead the fast-growing expansion at Frasers Group.
- Having technical know-how within photography, video, and post-production.
- Maintaining strong lines of communication with the Studio Manager, the photography team, styling teams, admin teams and production teams relating to workflow, creative and output.
- Flagging, managing and troubleshooting issues, problems and technical.
- Keeping studio budgets in order in line with Studio managers forecasts, raising PO’s, orders and invoices and processing studio order requirements.
- Final approval for Kronos submissions including tracking sick pay and holiday etc and build up to gross.
- Regularly reviewing team structure and maintaining a high performing team (HPT) culture through regular feedback and performance analysis, recommendations for succession planning and regular review of org structure with Managers and HR.
- Supporting studio managers with transformation or constant improvement initiatives.
- Creating presentations/ reporting decks for stakeholders on functions performance and delivery.
- Reviewing expenditure and highlighting or escalating any cause for concerns in a timely manner.
- Recommending and implementing best practice when it comes to organization comms and standards.
- Having an input in the photo studio strategy and business planning.
- Leading by example with studio policy's guidelines and ways of working.
- Liaising with Health & Safety to ensure First aiders and fire wardens are up to date.
- Liaising with People teams to ensure all matters related to people are dealt with fairly, positively and compliantly, including: employee relations issues, family leave policies, performance management, work experience, recruitment support.

Qualifications
- An in-depth knowledge of Photography, lighting, video & retouching processes, compounded from years of experience.
- Excellent teamwork with all members of the team.
- Ability to lead a team, to maximise quality and quantity produced.
- Advanced level of knowledge of Adobe Creative suite.
- Excellent knowledge of camera systems; from DSLR to Mirrorless.
- A great knowledge of digital workflow from camera to post production.
- Excellent communication skills, to liaise with all members of the team from entry level through to management.
- Finding the strengths of their Direct Reports and delegating work appropriately.
- The ability to train and guide DR’s as well as themselves.
- Can work independently with excellent comm’s to management.
