Architectural Studio Lead
AtkinsRéalis is seeking an innovative new Architectural Studio Lead to join and grow our Belfast / Aberdeen / Inverness architecture team. This role is part of the wider North, Scotland, and Northern Ireland Architectural Practice, focusing on the commercial, education, and local government sectors.
Your Role
- Day-to-Day Operations: Manage the studio's growth, including staff development, resource management, and finance.
- Project Management: Lead business development and project management within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Design Leadership: Develop the design culture and capability of our multi-disciplinary design team.
- Design Development: Create designs that enhance our reputation, rooted in a strong narrative.
- Client Engagement: Secure work through compelling design concepts and bidding, focusing on local opportunities.
- Team Development: Contribute to the design leadership and culture across the Belfast / Aberdeen / Inverness office.
- Project Delivery: Deliver projects to a high level of quality and client satisfaction, acting as Lead Consultant/Design Manager.
- Bid Development: Identify and support the development of winning bids for projects in local government, education, commercial, and related sectors.

About You
- Qualifications: Qualified Architect with ARB registration.
- Experience: Demonstrable track record in commercial, education, commercial, and local government sectors.
- Skills: Creative designer with technical delivery understanding, experience in preparing successful bids and tenders, and ability to confidently engage with clients and stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Direct experience in lead coordinator role, delivering projects at all stages. Good awareness of Autodesk Revit and managing projects in a BIM environment.
- License: Full UK Driving license.
Travel Requirements
Flexibility in respect of travel and location as project demands require.
