About House Pottery
House Pottery started in 2025 and teaches pottery classes. We have a studio in London and Manchester, with a third opening soon and more on the way.
The Role
A hands-on role covering three areas: supporting staff and scheduling, dealing with customer escalations, and studio management. Much of the job is on site, not behind a desk. No ceramic or art background is required.

What You'll Do
Staff Support and Scheduling
- Hiring and training
- Employee happiness
- Overseeing scheduling
Customer Escalations
- Handling unruly customers
- Dealing with negative reviews
- Acting as the liaison between the remote customer service team and the in-person studio team
Studio Management
- Ensuring standards are met, including cleanliness
- Monitoring stock levels
- Health and safety checks
Travel
You'll need to be happy to travel to Manchester at least once a month, with an overnight stay, to monitor and train staff and inspect the studio.
