About NYOU
NYOU is a hi-tech health club for performance and recovery, built for modern life. We combine science-led technologies — including cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, red light therapy and contrast therapy — within a premium, structured customer experience designed to help people think clearer, recover faster and perform better.
Our first club is opening in Farringdon, with ambitions to build a leading performance and recovery brand across London.
This is not a traditional wellness studio management role. We're looking for our first Studio Manager to help us launch NYOU Farringdon and take ownership of the studio as it grows.
The Opportunity
As Studio Manager, you'll be the senior day-to-day operator of NYOU Farringdon, responsible for the commercial, operational, customer and team performance of the studio.
You'll join before launch and play an important role in getting the studio ready to open — helping establish the team, customer experience, operating processes and standards that will shape how NYOU runs.
Once open, you'll operate with significant ownership: driving studio performance, developing the team, delivering an exceptional customer experience and continually identifying ways to make the business better.
We're looking for someone who wants to take ownership of a site as a business, not simply manage a rota.
What You’ll Own
- Commercial performance — driving revenue, utilisation and overall studio performance against agreed targets.
- Membership growth — converting customers into members and repeat users, while supporting strong retention.
- Customer experience — ensuring every stage of the NYOU experience is delivered to an exceptional standard.
- Team leadership — leading, coaching and developing a high-performing studio team.
- Studio operations — ensuring the studio runs safely, efficiently and consistently, including equipment, stock, procedures and day-to-day problem solving.
- Performance improvement — using data, customer insight and commercial judgement to identify opportunities and turn them into action.
- Launch & growth — helping establish the operating model for Farringdon and contributing to the standards and processes that can support future NYOU locations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We’re Looking For
You'll typically have 3+ years' relevant experience in a customer-facing operational environment such as boutique fitness, wellness, hospitality, leisure or another premium service business.
You'll have experience managing and developing people, running day-to-day operations and owning or materially contributing to commercial targets.
You'll be comfortable working with KPIs and performance data, confident having commercial conversations with customers, and able to maintain high standards in a fast-moving environment.

- Motivated by responsibility and accountability;
- Commercially driven and results-focused;
- Highly organised and detail-oriented;
- A confident and supportive people leader;
- Proactive and comfortable taking ownership;
- Excellent with customers;
- Comfortable building processes rather than always being given a playbook; and
- Genuinely interested in health, recovery and human performance.
Experience in a membership-based business, premium service environment or recovery/wellness setting would be an advantage — but isn't essential.
You don't need previous experience operating cryotherapy, HBOT or our other technologies — full training will be provided.
Why Join NYOU
You'll be joining at the beginning. Rather than inheriting an established operation, you'll have the opportunity to help build the first NYOU club, influence how it operates and work directly with the leadership team as we develop the business.
As NYOU grows, there is potential for the role to develop into broader or multi-site operational leadership.
You'll also receive training across NYOU's technologies, services and operating standards, alongside access to selected NYOU employee benefits.
The Details
- Employment: Permanent, full-time
- Working pattern: Five days per week, including Saturdays
- Base salary: £42,000
- Performance incentive: Eligible for NYOU's performance incentive scheme
