Studio Manager
Department: Operations
Reporting To: Chief Operating Officer
Location: Full-time | Office-based in Shoreditch, East London
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 (depending on experience)

Who we are looking for
We are now seeking a Studio Manager.
The Studio Manager role will be pivotal within mccglc and the role is one that doesn’t currently exist, so the successful candidate will be willing to take on challenges, be self-motivated, innovative and passionate about the process.
To be the right candidate you should have previous experience gained in a traffic, studio, production or creative services role and be confident to deal with all workflow management across multiple mediums. You will also be looking for a role where you can better understand how an agency works and gain operations experience.
This role sits within the Operations team and you would report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
Your job role and responsibilities:
- To traffic the flow of work through the studio, helping to manage work allocation to the different departments of the creative team (3D, Graphic, Content, Video)
- To help assemble multi-disciplinary pitch teams at short notice when new briefs come in.
- To build delivery timelines in conjunction with the Project Management Team and Creative Department
- To support the process of each project lifecycle from client brief to delivery
- To support the creation, distribution and efficient processing of each brief to ensure timely delivery of work to the client
- To ensure the efficiency of the studio by managing the resources of the agency, allocating work in an effective and timely way
- To proactively identify any resource shortfalls and ensure freelancers are sourced and onboarded in a timely and efficient manner
- To own the sign-off process to ensure that all work leaving the agency is approved by the relevant stakeholders of mccglc before that work is released to the client.
- To support the Chief Operating Officer in optimising our current resources and forecasting future needs.
- To review studio timesheets and ensure all data entered is correct
- Support the project management team to ensure project time spend is tracked and any potential issues proactively identified
- To undertake any other ad hoc duties as requested by line management
- To oversee team leave and holiday bookings against key delivery milestones, ensuring optimal studio coverage and preventing potential resource bottlenecks

Your key skills:
- You have excellent interpersonal and personnel management skills.
- You will be naturally confident, outgoing and enthusiastic and be able to remain positive when busy.
- You must be cool-headed and able to work effectively and efficiently to tight deadlines and inspire others to do so.
- Proactive with ability to anticipate, communicate and resolve issues with minimal guidance
- Exceptional attention to detail and thoroughness
- Proven ability to pivot quickly, re-prioritizing workloads to absorb last-minute demands without compromising quality
- Experience using Google Drive Suite, Microsoft Office and time management tools
- Fluency in spoken and written English and have the right to work in the UK
- At least 5 years’ experience in a Traffic/Studio/Creative Services Management environment
- The minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification

Additional Information:
- This is a full-time role with a 6-month probation period.
- Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK. We are currently unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
