About 89up

89up is an award-winning social impact agency that partners with charities, NGOs and purpose-led organisations to create campaigns that inspire action and deliver real-world change. From integrated campaigns and fundraising to branding, digital products and creative content, we bring together strategy, creativity and innovation to help organisations achieve greater impact.

We're looking for a highly organised, process-driven Account Director to join our growing team. Sitting within the Studio team and reporting to the COO, you'll play a central role in ensuring projects are delivered seamlessly, from initial brief through to final production, while also supporting the delivery of integrated client accounts across the agency.

The Role

We're looking for a production powerhouse who combines operational excellence with a strong creative instinct. You'll lead the day-to-day running of the Studio, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently from brief through to final production while maintaining exceptional creative standards.

Reporting to the COO, you'll manage four team members across video, graphic design and motion design, while working closely with the Head of Design and Video Lead to shape creative output and ensure work meets the brief.

You'll oversee studio resourcing, project scheduling, production planning, budgeting and client communications, helping translate ideas from across the agency into high-quality creative deliverables. Working at an Account Director level, you'll balance operational efficiency with commercial awareness, identifying opportunities to maximise project value while supporting integrated client accounts.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
