At NEXT Wholly Owned Brands, we’re a collective of London-based fashion and lifestyle brands. From our beginnings with Lipsy in 1998, to becoming part of the UK’s largest fashion retailer, NEXT, in 2008 we’ve evolved into a group of bold, design-led brands, each with its unique identity.

At the heart of our business is a passionate team driven by creativity, innovation, and a shared ambition to deliver exceptional results. We foster a culture where individuality is celebrated, curiosity is encouraged, and challenging the status quo is part of how we grow.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Studio Technical Coordinator serves as the primary technical, digital, and IT support specialist within the photographic studio environment. Working alongside the Technical Lead, this role is responsible for overseeing studio systems, software, hardware, and image workflows to eliminate downtime and maximise operational efficiency. As a natural problem solver with a strong technical aptitude, you will provide desktop support for Mac users, manage studio equipment inventory, and maintain disaster recovery strategies.

Role Responsibilities

Technical Operations, IT & Image Workflows

  • Ensure all digital studio systems, system architectures, and network hardware operate at optimum performance, rectifying technical issues quickly to meet business objectives.
  • Provide end-user desktop support for studio Mac users, imaging computers for freelance photography teams, and serving as the base contact point for system administration.
  • Oversee end-to-end image workflows throughout the studio, ensuring full adherence to NEXT image guidelines and stepping into the Digital Operator role when required.
  • Maintain Disaster Recovery strategies for business continuity demands and produce technical reporting documentation to keep senior management informed of progress.

Studio Management, Logistics & Equipment

  • Manage and maintain the inventory of photography, lighting, and IT equipment, ensuring proper organisation, maintenance, and secure storage.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment usage, system maintenance, and studio safety.
  • Coordinate studio schedules and logistics, managing equipment availability, personnel assignments, and resource allocation.
  • Support Studio Floor Assistants with set changes and studio services, and deputise for the Studio Manager regarding technical, maintenance, or operational issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
