Study Coordinator - MRC-BHF UK CARDIO-IMID Partnership
We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Study Coordinator within the MRC-BHF UK CARDIO-IMID Partnership. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate the set-up and day-to-day running of a national registry study involving approximately 30 centres across the UK within a dynamic and inclusive environment. The study is sponsored by The University of Manchester and aims to improve understanding, risk assessment and management of cardiovascular involvement in people with Immune-Mediated Inflammatory Diseases.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating study operations, including ethics and R&D applications, amendments and NHS site set-up activities.
- Supporting Site Initiation Visits, data collection monitoring, database management and quality control.
- Maintaining the Trial Master File and supporting study reporting requirements.
- Liaising with investigators, NHS sites, collaborators and stakeholders across the UK to support delivery of study objectives.
- Working within the UK CARDIO-IMID Partnership team to help ensure compliance with research governance requirements.

About You

Essential Criteria
- Experience of coordinating clinical research studies.
- Experience of research governance processes, ethics submissions and NHS site set-up activities.
- Ability to support study operations, data collection monitoring, database management and quality control.
- Ability to maintain accurate study documentation, including Trial Master File maintenance and reporting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including liaison with investigators, NHS sites, collaborators and UK-wide stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working on multi-centre studies or national registry studies.
- Experience supporting Site Initiation Visits.
- Experience working within cardiovascular, IMID or related clinical research areas.
- Experience working collaboratively within an established multidisciplinary research team.
- Understanding of research governance requirements in UK clinical research.
