VolkerFitzpatrick offers a range and depth of civil engineering, infrastructure, and building services. We contribute to vital parts of the nation's life through projects of strategic importance, while delivering those less visible, yet essential, works required by both private and public sectors. We build, renew, maintain highways, airports, railway infrastructure, and commercial, industrial, and educational buildings.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a driven Sub Agent to join our team on the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE), one of Network Rail's largest and most significant long-term frameworks.
Working within our Earthworks Portfolio and based from our Basingstoke office, you'll support the delivery of a diverse range of projects across the Wessex and Sussex routes.
As a Sub Agent, you will be exposed to a wide range of earthworks and infrastructure projects, working closely with experienced professionals to solve complex engineering challenges, manage multiple workstreams, and play a key role in safely delivering successful project outcomes.
About you
- Experience working on infrastructure projects, ideally within a Rail environment
- Proven technical and project management capabilities
- Strong organisational, planning, and leadership skills
- Good knowledge of CDM Regulations and their practical application
- Experience producing Work Package Plans, Task Briefing Sheets, and implementing safe systems of work
- Detailed knowledge of Safety, Quality, and Environmental requirements within a project environment
