We’re seeking an ambitious Sub-Agent to take ownership of a major section of bulk earthworks and formation delivery on the HS2 programme — the largest infrastructure project in Europe. This is a career-defining opportunity to lead from the front on a complex, fast-moving, and technically challenging project.
As Sub-Agent, you’ll manage and develop an engineering team, coordinating day-to-day delivery, safety, and quality. You’ll take responsibility for planning and execution of mass haul operations, drainage, stabilisation, and digital survey/model management, ensuring your section is delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor your Engineering team, driving safe, efficient delivery.
- Support detailed mass-haul and seasonal planning within your section.
- Manage constructability, sequencing, and temporary works planning.
- Interface with Commercial and Planning teams to align on progress and costs.
- Provide technical guidance and development to junior engineers.
