Are you an experienced Computing teacher looking for an opportunity to use your subject expertise to support teachers, learners and the future development of Computing qualifications?

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

As a Cambridge OCR Subject Advisor for Computing, you will provide in-house expertise across a portfolio of general and vocational Computing qualifications. You will bring a strong understanding of qualification delivery, teachers' needs and the current education landscape, helping us maintain and develop high-quality qualifications and support.

About The Role

Additional responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Providing high-quality, knowledgeable customer service and supporting schools and teachers to deliver our qualifications.
  • Providing subject input into the maintenance of current qualifications and the redevelopment of future qualifications.
  • Supporting the growth of Cambridge OCR through insight, partnerships and stakeholder engagement.

  • Delivering projects effectively and on time.

This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40–60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
