Our client, a leading educational institution in Bridgend, Mid Glamorgan, is seeking Subject Specialist Teachers to join their dynamic team. As a Subject Specialist Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students in your area of expertise, contributing to their academic growth and personal development.

  • Develop and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to the diverse learning needs of students
  • Assess student progress through various methods, including formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create and implement cross-curricular projects and initiatives that enhance the learning experience
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student performance and well-being
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and subject-specific knowledge
  • Contribute to the school community by participating in extracurricular activities, events, and meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject area
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching the subject at the appropriate level
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment practices
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance teaching and learning
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

Our client offers a competitive salary range of £31,000 to £49,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the salary, the successful candidates will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
