We're looking for a Submissions Manager to join our Strategic Projects team at Kier.

Location: Flexible. The role will have a national remit

Hours: Full-time - Flexible/Remote Working available

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

About the Role

As a Submissions Manager, you'll lead the creation of compelling, high-quality bids that truly respond to what our clients need. Working at the heart of our Strategic Projects business, you'll shape win strategies, coordinate expert contributors, and bring together written content and design to produce industry-leading submissions. This is a role where your organisational skills, attention to detail, and collaborative approach will make a real difference to our success.

Responsibilities

As a Submissions Manager, You'll Be Working Within The Strategic Projects Team, Supporting Them In Delivering Complex, High-profile Capital Programmes For Major Clients. Your Day To Day Will Include

  • Leading the development of qualitative submissions, from analysing requirements through to final production and submission
  • Working closely with Bid Managers to develop win strategies and ensure they're reflected throughout the submission
  • Coordinating internal teams, subject matter experts and external partners to create coherent, compliant bids
  • Managing the quality review process, providing constructive feedback and maintaining standards through successive stages
  • Overseeing graphic design, bid production and ensuring all tender requirements are met on time

What We're Looking For

This role of Submissions Manager is great for you if:

  • You have extensive experience developing bid-win strategies and delivering high-quality bids to tight deadlines
  • You're an excellent communicator with strong organisational skills and the ability to bring people together
  • You have a keen eye for detail and take pride in producing work to the highest standard
  • You're experienced with MS Word, Excel, and InDesign
  • You enjoy collaborative working and can manage multiple stakeholders effectively
