About The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and detail-driven Submissions Manager to lead the end-to-end development of high-quality, competitive bids for major infrastructure projects across the Southern Region. This role is central to how we win work combining leadership, collaboration, and a sharp eye for compelling storytelling.
This is a fixed-term position through to September 2027, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to infrastructure projects while working with a high-performing team.
- Lead and manage the development of submissions for priority projects
- Coordinate bid writers, designers, and technical teams to meet deadlines
- Shape value propositions and differentiators that speak to client needs
- Drive continuous improvement in submissions quality and process
- Maintain and evolve our submissions knowledge base and content library
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver best-in-class proposals

What You’ll Bring
- Relevant tertiary qualification in either Communications, Business Management, or Project Management
- At least 5 years’ experience in tender submissions, project coordination, bid writing, procurement, tendering roles or similar.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills across diverse audiences
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams under pressure and tight timeframes
- Strategic thinking with a focus on client needs and competitive positioning
- High-level planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
