Our Client
Our client is a prestigious scientific society with a strong publishing portfolio, and they are looking for a Subscription Coordinator to join their commercial publishing team on a temporary basis for approximately 4 months, working hybrid (2 days per week) from the London office.
The Role
This is a varied and commercially focused position supporting the delivery and growth of a successful publishing programme. You'll manage subscription fulfilment and renewals, oversee customer access to online content, respond to subscriber enquiries, and produce reports that inform sales and marketing activity. The role is heavily email based.
Acting as a key point of contact for customers, libraries, institutions, and subscription agents, you'll investigate access issues, support trial accounts, monitor usage trends, and help ensure customers receive the best possible service. You'll also work closely with colleagues across sales and marketing, providing data insights, maintaining accurate records, and identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement and retention.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
