We have a fantastic opportunity for Subsidence Technical Manager UK wide. You will provide teams of Building Consultants with technical support on individual claims and team initiatives. Assisting with queries, referrals, complaints, and complex scenarios, aiming for positive outcomes for Policyholders and Clients and developing internal relationships.
The Technical Manager ensures technical quality delivery from the team, reporting to the team Operations Manager to maintain excellent service. You will work with other managers to enhance quality, upskill colleagues, and identify growth opportunities. Responsibilities include managing Building Consultants' licencing, mentoring, supporting complaint resolution, and conducting audits. Ensuring accuracy in reserving and decision-making, you will help colleagues deliver revenue targets and top-tier customer service. Promoting technical development through professional qualifications, you will engage in client interactions to showcase technical expertise.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in managing subsidence claims: Previous experience in a subsidence claims environment is essential, with a strong background dealing with complex issues.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills: Ability to guide and support team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering their professional growth.
- Organisational Skills: Organised, diligent, and able to run tasks through to completion.
- Ability to work in a team environment: Comfortable working with the extended leadership team in Subsidence.
- Adaptability: Conscientious, hard-working, and flexible during high volumes, with the ability to cope with a fast-changing working environment.
- Professional Attitude: Enthusiastic, professional, and positive attitude, with a desire to embrace innovative working practices.
- Professional Qualifications: You will be recognised as a subject matter expert amongst peers and will likely hold a building-related professional qualification and/or have extensive experience in the industry.
