The McDuffie County School System is currently accepting applications for SUBSTITUTE FOOD SERVICE EMPLOYEE to work in our school lunchrooms.
REPORTS TO: Director of Auxiliary Services
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
Performance Requirements
- Be available to work when needed.
- Get along with others and be a team player.
- Follow sanitary rules for food handling.
- Follow instructions given by manager.
- Able to relate effectively to children, adults, fellow employees, and patrons.
- Reports to work neat and clean per established standard operating procedures.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, carry 40 pounds, pushing, and/or pulling, above head reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity, movement, free standing and unassisted walking. Generally, the job requires 90% moving/walking/standing.

Applications may be completed at the McDuffie County Board of Education, 716 North Lee Street, Thomson, GA 30824 between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Applications are also located on the McDuffie County Schools website.
