We’re looking for a special candidate who will lead our hard-working and friendly team, making it all happen - from preparing delicious food, delivering first-class customer service, or maintaining great hygiene standards. You’ll be supported by a team of brilliant people, and there are fantastic career development and progression opportunities.
You will also work closely with the store management team to help develop and grow SUBWAY®, and deliver key targets including sales and profitability.

As SUBWAY® Manager you will:
- Provide a first-class service to all of our customers.
- Allocate work duties to other members of the Subway team to ensure all duties are covered and to maintain a high-quality service at all times.
- Exercise and enforce constant watch over Health & Safety, Security, Discipline, and Due Diligence.
- Carry out food safety control checks in all areas to ensure all standards are being maintained and recorded.
- Ensure stock is displayed in the correct position to attract sales, the correct price is displayed, and waste recording procedure is being followed.
- Prepare and cook all food in line with company procedure and Health and Safety regulations.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness in the SUBWAY® Department (front and back) is maintained at all times.
- Be accountable for the enforcement of all legislative demands/standards of fire, health, hygiene, and safety, and ensure these conditions are strictly adhered to.
- Undertake other duties as required for the role.

Skills for Success
- A passion for food…with a proven track record for delivering a fantastic customer experience in a similar role. You’ll have at least 1 year’s experience in a serviced food role, and you’ll see your role as a profession, helping us to develop SUBWAY® as a key destination for food on the go.
- At least 6 months’ experience in leading a team.
- A positive attitude and a love for people…you’ll inspire and motivate your team to be the best.
- Creative flair and an eye for detail, ensuring that excellent presentation and standards are maintained.
- Knowledge of Food Safety practices and procedures - you’ll have a minimum Level 2 qualification in Food Safety.
- Commercial Awareness, and the ability to deliver on Key Performance Indicators such as sales, costs, and profitability.

Working hours
42.5 Hours per week, working within the hours of Monday-Sunday 8am-9pm. Shortlisted candidates will have the opportunity to discuss working hours and shift patterns in further detail at interview.
