Role Title: QC Reviewer

Location: Liverpool

Contract: 1X Perm, 1X 12 Month FTC

About the Role

These are exciting roles based within the Quality Control (QC) team of Investment Risk working with the Front Office helping to ensure Rathbones fulfils its suitability obligations set out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in its regulations and Rathbones internal guidance.

In accordance with our ongoing duty of care and obligations, we are required to demonstrate the suitability of our recommendations to our clients have been appropriately considered and justified at both the initial time of application and throughout the client lifecycle, and our clients are receiving suitable outcomes. To demonstrate suitability for posterity and provide evidence when subject to challenge, we need to document our suitability assessment i.e. what we have done, why we did it and when we did it. This is documented in the form of the About You Investment Mandate (AYIM) for existing clients and the initial About Your Investment Mandate (Welcome Letter) for new clients.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
