About Everblue
We're a small UK AI startup doing something that matters. We build technology for frontline policing — tools designed by people who've worked the job, for people who work the job. No generic enterprise software, no solutions looking for problems. Just practical AI that helps officers and staff do their jobs better, faster, and with less paperwork.
We're in active deployment with UK law enforcement and moving quickly. This summer, we're looking for one or two talented students to work alongside us as we build and refine our products.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on internship where you'll be embedded in a small, fast-moving team working on real AI products in a genuinely regulated and high-stakes environment. You'll contribute to live work, whether that's pipeline development, evaluation, prompt engineering, integration, or other technical challenges we're working through at the time.
We're a small team, which means your contribution will be visible and your ideas will be heard. We're also looking at this programme as a way to identify future talent, so for the right person, this could be the start of something longer term.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For
You'll be studying for a degree in machine learning, AI, or automation, ideally between your second and third year, though we'll consider strong candidates between their first and second year too. Practical experience of software development, whether through coursework, personal projects, or previous work experience, will be a real advantage.
We're particularly interested in individuals who have a genuine interest in the public sector or law enforcement, and who understand the importance of data security and privacy. You don't need a professional background in these areas, but a passion for building AI responsibly in high-stakes environments is something we look for in everyone who joins us.
Beyond that, we care about curiosity, drive, and the ability to get things done.

How to Apply
We're more interested in who you are than a lengthy CV. Please send us a covering letter of no more than two pages that tells us about you, what you're studying, what you've built or worked on that you're proud of, and why Everblue interests you. A short CV summarising your education and any relevant experience is helpful, but the letter is what matters most.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a video interview, with final candidates meeting our CEO and CTO in person.
