Looking for a summer internship where you can do more than observe?

At Zeeco, you’ll get hands-on experience, work on real engineering projects and learn alongside experienced engineers at our European headquarters in Rutland.

We’re looking for enthusiastic and driven Engineering Interns to join us for Summer 2027. Over 10 weeks, you’ll gain genuine insight into life as an engineer at a global leader in combustion and environmental solutions, including the opportunity to spend three weeks in the USA.

What You’ll Experience

This isn’t just work shadowing. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Work alongside experienced engineers across the full project lifecycle, from sales and proposals through to engineering, design and manufacturing.
  • Contribute to real individual and team projects, giving you experience similar to that of our permanent engineering teams.
  • Learn how Zeeco works with customers to deliver innovative and sustainable engineering solutions.
  • Develop your understanding of our technology, products and global operations.
  • Build practical knowledge of industry regulations, ISO standards, safety and environmental best practice.
  • Potentially visit customer sites and experience engineering outside the office.
  • Spend three weeks in the USA in July 2027, giving you valuable international experience.

What we’re looking for

We value curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn. You’ll be:

  • Currently studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • Entering your final year of study following the internship.
  • Technically curious and keen to develop your engineering knowledge.
  • A confident communicator who enjoys working with others.
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable taking on new challenges.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude.
  • Living within commutable distance during the internship (45 minutes drive).
  • In possession of a full driving licence, as our Rutland facility is not accessible by public transport.
  • In possession of a valid passport and able to travel to and stay in the USA for three weeks during July 2027.
