About The Role
A structured, rotational training placement offering supervised exposure to structured finance and securitisation, including asset-backed finance, trade receivables finance, portfolio management, and origination. This is a supernumerary role: the intern supplements the team's learning environment rather than filling a vacancy or operational need, with core responsibilities remaining with existing staff throughout.
Programme Structure
Phase 1: Foundation
A structured introduction to the firm, its working practices, and the fundamentals of structured finance. The intern builds confidence through supervised observation, shadowing the credit and origination teams to develop an initial understanding of the deal lifecycle.
Phase 2: Rotational Learning
Guided rotational work across key business areas, applying earlier learning to broader analytical and coordination-based activities. Focus areas include research support, document preparation, and exposure to client and credit processes.
Phase 3: Applied Practice
Greater ownership of clearly defined, supervised work, drawing together earlier learning to contribute to transaction-related analysis and written outputs, including summaries and supporting committee materials.

Supervision
The intern is supervised at all times by two designated supervisors, a partner and the relevant analyst, based in a single shared office with immediate in-person access throughout the day.
What We’re Looking For
- Students in their final year of study (undergraduate or master’s)
- Strong academic performance, ideally in finance, economics, business, or a quantitative discipline
- Demonstrated interest in structured finance, capital markets, or securitisation
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proactive and collaborative mindset
- Team player
