About The Role
The Summer Operations Assistant position, based in Wembley, is a temporary contract lasting roughly one month, paying £13.50 per hour. Working Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 6:00pm, with a 30-minute unpaid break, this role supports a student accommodation provider during their busy seasonal changeover. Core duties involve preparing rooms for new residents, checking quality standards, and ensuring each space is fully equipped. About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our popular and busy Student Accommodation Client. We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Summer Helper to support their Operations team during the busy summer turnaround period. This role is essential in preparing their student accommodation for new arrivals. Ensuring all rooms meet quality standards and are fully equipped for incoming residents.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Accommodation, Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams to help deliver a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out quality inspections of bedrooms and communal areas after the housekeeping team have been in to ensure accommodation meets the required standards.
- Check room inventory against the inventory checklist and replace any missing, damaged, or incorrect items. Following this up by updating spreadsheets.
- Record stock intake, monitor inventory levels, and assist with organizing and replenishing supplies.
- Identify any maintenance issues such as damaged furniture, faulty fixtures, lighting, plumbing, or general wear and tear, and report them promptly to the Maintenance team.
- Working to agreed deadlines to prepare rooms for new student arrivals.
- Following health and safety procedures while carrying out daily duties.
- Maintain accurate records of completed room checks, stock movements, and maintenance reports.
- Support the wider Operations team with additional tasks as required during the summer period.

We Are Looking For Someone Who
- Holds a up-to-date clean DBS within the last 3-6 months or willing to obtain one.
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards.
- Is organized and able to manage their workload effectively.
- Can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Has good communication skills.
- Is reliable and punctual.
- Is physically capable of carrying out room inspections and handling light stock items.
- Is comfortable using checklists and recording information accurately.
- Previous experience in hospitality, housekeeping, customer service, or student accommodation is beneficial but not essential.
