Our international Corporate practice
Our international Corporate practice operates across the firm's network of offices in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Our clients encompass leading private equity sponsors, asset managers, investment funds, national and multinational corporations, global financial institutions, governments and regulatory bodies. We combine our transactional expertise with deep sector knowledge across our chosen sectors: Asset Management & Investment Funds, Financial Institutions, TMT, Healthcare & Life Sciences, and Energy, Natural Resources & Infrastructure.
Our UK Corporate team has a growing and award winning private equity practice, advising financial sponsors, management teams and portfolio companies throughout the investment lifecycle. Our work includes:
- Private equity investments, buyouts and exits
- Platform and bolt-on acquisitions
- Management incentive and equity participation arrangements
- Portfolio company acquisitions, disposals and strategic projects
- Domestic and cross-border M&A transactions
- Joint ventures, reorganisations and corporate restructuring matters

The Role
We are keen to hear from experienced private equity lawyers to join our growing team in either Bristol or London.
This is an opportunity to become part of an established and expanding private equity practice acting for a broad range of mid-market and lower mid-market financial sponsors, management teams and portfolio companies. The role offers exposure to complex, high-value and often international transactions, working closely with clients on acquisitions, disposals, platform investments, add-on transactions, management equity arrangements and broader strategic corporate matters.

You will work closely with colleagues across the UK and our international offices, collaborating within a collegiate and well-integrated private equity team. You will have significant client contact and the opportunity to play a key role in developing long-term relationships with sponsors, management teams and intermediaries across the market.
Candidate Specification
You are a qualified lawyer with 3-5 years' PQE and strong experience advising on private equity transactions.
You have experience acting for financial sponsors, management teams and/or portfolio companies on acquisitions, disposals and investment transactions.
You have strong technical, commercial and drafting skills, with the ability to deliver pragmatic advice in a fast-paced environment.
You are an effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach.
You can manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
