About the Role
Our market-leading Funds Finance practice advises banks, alternative lenders, hedge fund managers, private equity funds, real estate funds, infrastructure funds, and investment fund managers on some of the most innovative and complex financing transactions in the market. We are recognised for combining deep technical expertise with a highly commercial approach, acting across a broad range of fund finance products including capital call facilities, NAV facilities, hybrid facilities, GP and management facilities, co-invest facilities, continuation vehicle financings, and other bespoke fund-related lending structures.
Our combined finance and funds expertise, together with our long-standing relationships with leading financial institutions, asset managers, and sponsors, gives us a unique perspective across the market. We are one of the few firms with a genuinely balanced practice acting for both lenders and sponsors, providing lawyers in the team with exposure to a broad range of clients, structures, and transactions.
This is an exciting time to join the practice. Following a period of significant strategic growth and investment, the team continues to expand in response to increasing client demand across the funds finance market. As part of this growth journey, we are looking to recruit a talented Supervising or Managing Associate who is keen to help shape the next phase of the practice's development.
You will work closely with an ambitious and growing team, take on a high level of responsibility from day one, and play a key role in building client relationships, developing junior lawyers, and supporting business development initiatives. This role offers genuine long-term progression opportunities for an ambitious lawyer looking to take the next step in their career within a fast-growing and market-leading practice.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking to hire a Supervising or Managing Associate (4+ PQE) to join our Fund Finance team, based in either our London or Bristol office.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience advising on a range of fund finance transactions, including capital call, NAV, hybrid, GP, management fee, and co-invest facilities. Experience acting for both lenders and sponsors/borrowers would be advantageous, although candidates with a strong background on either side of the market are encouraged to apply.

You will have a strong understanding of fund structures and partnership documentation, as well as experience running transactions and managing key workstreams. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking ownership of matters, supervising junior lawyers, and building trusted relationships with sophisticated clients.

Person Specification
- Excellent academics and strong technical and drafting skills.
- Minimum 4+ PQE with significant experience advising on Fund Finance transactions at a leading firm.
- Strong transactional management skills and ability to run matters with appropriate supervision.
- Commercially focused with strong client relationship and communication skills.
- Demonstrable interest in business development and helping to grow a practice.
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers would be advantageous.
- Ambitious, proactive, and motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of a market-leading team.
- Able to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
