📍 London | 💷 £40,000–£50,000 DOE + Commission | ⚖️ 3+ PQE | Full-time

A growing specialist law firm is looking for an experienced Solicitor to join its Immigration and Family Law teams. This is a key role combining fee-earning, supervision and regulatory responsibility, with Supervising Solicitor and COLP responsibilities forming an essential part of the position. The firm is open to candidates with a strong background in either Immigration or Family Law, with the opportunity to develop experience across both areas.

The Role

You will:

  • Manage your own caseload with autonomy.
  • Advise clients and prepare applications, submissions, and legal documentation.
  • Handle negotiations, hearings, and proceedings where appropriate.
  • Develop your own client base and fee-earning practice.
  • Supervise and support junior team members.
  • Take on Supervising Solicitor and COLP responsibilities.
  • Support the firm's compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Experience

Immigration

  • Experience across UK immigration, nationality, sponsor licences, family/partner routes, ILR, appeals, or litigation.
  • Judicial Review experience is particularly advantageous.

Family

  • Experience across divorce, financial remedy, children matters, family disputes, negotiation, and court proceedings.
  • Experience with Family/Immigration crossover matters would be beneficial.

About You

You will ideally have:

  • 3+ years' PQE and qualification as a Solicitor in England & Wales.
  • Strong experience in either Immigration or Family Law.
  • Experience managing your own caseload.
  • Excellent client care, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Previous COLP/Supervising Solicitor experience, or the appropriate experience and willingness to take on these responsibilities.
  • A commercially minded approach and interest in developing your own practice.
