Position: Supervisor
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £27,000 to £28,000 + bonus potential of around £1,000 per year
Driving Licence: Essential due to training in first 4 weeks not being local

The Role
As Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the store, delivering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets and maintaining high operational standards. This is a hands-on role where you'll be speaking with customers, managing enquiries, converting opportunities into sales and helping ensure the store runs smoothly. You'll also have the opportunity to take real responsibility for the store and develop your experience within a business that offers genuine opportunities for progression. The Gloucester store is currently closed at weekends, offering an excellent work-life balance compared with many retail environments. Some flexibility for weekend working will be required should opening hours change in the future, although regular weekend working is not currently expected.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
