Job Title: Supervisor

We’re looking for a confident, motivated and highly organised Supervisor to join our Clean Rivers & Seas (CR&S) team, supporting delivery across Kent and Sussex.

This role is about people, organisation and delivery. We’re not looking for someone who necessarily comes from a civils or technical background. We’re looking for someone with the right attitude who can lead people, communicate well, stay ahead of what is happening and make sure our teams and subcontractors are delivering what is expected.

They need to be comfortable taking ownership, speaking up when something isn’t right and pushing things forward when needed.

Vacancy Introduction

As Supervisor, you will be responsible for helping drive the day-to-day delivery of our Survey & Discovery programme.

  • You will work closely with our working supervisors, operational teams and subcontractors, making sure resources are in the right place, work is progressing and any issues that could affect delivery are picked up and dealt with early.
  • The technical knowledge will sit with the working supervisors and technical members of the team. Your role is to keep the whole operation moving.
  • You will need to understand what each team is doing, where they should be, what is coming next and whether we have the people, vehicles, equipment and subcontractor support required to deliver it.
  • You will also work closely with the Project Manager, planning team and other stakeholders to make sure there is clear communication between the office and site.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience & Qualifications

There is no requirement for previous Civils Supervisor experience. Previous experience managing people, teams, resources or operations would be beneficial, but attitude, leadership ability, organisation and communication are more important than having a traditional civils background.
