Overview

The Luxury Retail Supervisor supports the Store Manager in delivering exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets and maintaining the highest standards of store operations and brand presentation. You will be a hands-on leader, leading by example on the sales floor, supporting and developing the team, and building strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience and act as a role model for outstanding service.
  • Lead by example in selling, styling, product knowledge and clienteling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and support the store's VIP strategy.
  • Maintain accurate customer information, including preferences, purchase history and key dates.
  • Proactively contact clients regarding new arrivals and products relevant to their preferences.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and driving commercial performance.
  • Coach, motivate and develop the sales team through regular guidance and on-the-spot feedback.
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members.
  • Ensure the team consistently meets standards for grooming, presentation, customer service and professionalism.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, stock presentation, ticketing and stockroom organisation.
  • Ensure store security and loss-prevention procedures are followed.
  • Take responsibility for the store and team when the Store Manager is absent.
  • Deal confidently and professionally with customer enquiries and issues.
  • Communicate effectively with the Store Manager and proactively raise any concerns or opportunities.
  • Support store events, launches, VIP appointments and busy trading periods.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Store Manager.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in luxury or premium fashion retail is preferred.
  • Previous Supervisor, Senior Sales, Keyholder or leadership experience is desirable.
  • Strong selling, styling and customer service skills.
  • Confident in leading, coaching and motivating a team.
  • Passionate about luxury fashion, styling and current trends.
  • Commercially aware and target-driven.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, professional, personable and well presented.
  • Immaculate personal grooming and a strong understanding of luxury standards.
  • Hands-on, proactive and able to take ownership.
  • Reliable, organised and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and peak trading periods.
