I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Our Supervisors are tasked with running efficient operations, commercial performance, and above all, strong team leadership.
We are a “walk-in” only business, we don’t need bookings to fill our restaurants!
We’re no office folk here, we expect our managers of all levels to roll up their sleeves and lead from the front. You’ll be getting fully involved in the day-to-day operations of your branch from hosting guests coming through the door, to taking orders.
A full Job Description will be made available to you during the hiring process.
Essential Experience:
- You’ll have worked in a team leadership role in a customer-facing environment.
- At least 2 years working in customer-facing roles.
- You’ve worked in hospitality for 2 years or more.
- You have experience leading from the front.
It would be even better (but not essential) if:
- You have at least 2 years of experience at Supervisor level in a table service restaurant or cafe.
Can you handle the pressure of a fast turnaround, table service brunch, lunch, and dining establishment?
Does this look like your next opportunity?
