About Us

Y2K Vintage is one of the UK's leading vintage retailers, specialising in hand-picked fashion from the late 90s and early 2000s. Our Notting Hill store is located on the busy Portobello Road and is a key part of the Y2K Vintage experience, welcoming a high volume of customers every week.

We're looking for an energetic, confident and commercially aware Supervisor to join our team and help lead the store. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, loves vintage fashion and enjoys getting the best out of a team.

You'll work closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to keep the store running smoothly, maintain high standards and deliver an exceptional customer experience. When senior management aren't in the store, you'll be trusted to take ownership of the shop floor and ensure the team remains focused, motivated and commercially driven.

The Role

As Supervisor, you'll be a key member of the store leadership team, supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager across the day-to-day running of the store.

You'll lead from the front, setting the standard for customer service, energy and performance. You'll help drive sales and key KPIs, coach the team in real time, maintain excellent visual merchandising standards and ensure operational procedures are followed.

We're looking for someone who is proactive, confident making decisions and comfortable taking ownership during busy trading periods.

Key Responsibilities

Shop Floor & Team Leadership

  • Lead the shop floor throughout your shifts, maintaining high energy, positivity and excellent customer service standards.
  • Conduct daily team briefs in the absence of the SM and/or ASM, covering daily targets, priorities, tasks, zoning plans and breaks.
  • Ensure shop floor zoning is consistently maintained, and the store remains organised and fully shoppable.
  • Lead by example, creating an energetic and positive atmosphere for both customers and the team.
  • Recognise individual and team achievements, celebrate successes and communicate positive sales trends.
  • Support the SM and ASM with team training and development when required.
  • Identify performance issues and provide constructive feedback and ongoing support to underperforming team members.
  • Support the SM and ASM with performance management where required.
  • Work with the management team to implement and monitor stock loss prevention strategies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
