Supervisor
Location: Uttoxeter
Job type: Temporary to Permanent

Key Duties
- Supervising the team on a day-to-day basis to delegate tasks and solve operational and quality issues
- Planning the collation of equipment for delivery well in advance and working closely with the project management team in head office to meet operational requirements.
- Highlighting and implementing areas of continuous improvement to improve operational efficiency
- Following and promoting health and safety procedures to ensure the welfare of yourself and those around you
- Scanning assets onto internal systems and monitoring all movement of equipment
- Assisting with unloading vehicles and returning equipment to cold room bay
- Cleaning cold room panels and non-unique assets such as cold room racks
- Ensuring all collections are checked for completeness (e.g., dirty or missing panels).
- Confirming all cold-room motors are tested before dispatch.
- Assisting with Loading vehicles and dispatching the assets
- Ensure equipment is provided in good time for dispatch
- Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse storage space.
- Ensure the use of storage space and racking is to be maximised.
- Supporting wider warehouse team when required

Skills & Experience

- Demonstratable experience of supervising or motivating team members towards common goal
- Proven experience of assisting with or leading the implementation of organisational efficiencies and operations

- Self-motivated and proactive in using own initiative
- Strong team ethos
- Computer literacy
- Working level of English
- Must be able to bend, stoop, walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safely
- Must be able to move and lift heavy equipment
Pay
£14.74 per hours
Any lawful deductions will be explained clearly before engagement. Statutory deductions such as Tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions (where applicable) will apply.
