Overview

At Millets, we’re here to make the outdoors accessible for everyone — from everyday walks to weekend adventures. As a Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the shop floor and helping deliver a friendly, helpful in-store experience for every customer.

You’ll lead by example, supporting daily operations, guiding colleagues during each shift, and helping maintain strong service and presentation standards. With energy, organisation, and a passion for great customer service, you’ll help keep the store welcoming, well-stocked, and running smoothly.

Hourly Rate - £13.06

Role Overview

As a Supervisor at Millets, you play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the shop floor and delivering a high standard of customer service. You lead by example, guide colleagues during each shift, and help maintain strong levels of service, presentation, and store performance. You’ll also support daily operational tasks as directed by Store Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent service by supporting customers, answering queries, and ensuring the team creates a welcoming in-store experience.
  • Support sales performance by maintaining strong service levels, using in-store tools to access the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
  • Maintain visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and easy to shop.
  • Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and supporting accurate till operations.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to guide and support colleagues.
  • Good attention to detail, with the ability to maintain high standards in service, presentation, and store operations.
  • Passion for retail and an interest in outdoor products, with the ability to represent the Millets brand.
