The Guard House
The Guard House is a well-known, high-energy pub located in the heart of the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich. With a large, open space and a busy bar at its centre, we’re a go-to spot for locals looking for great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere. We pride ourselves on being a true community pub, delivering strong, consistent service alongside a quality drinks range and classic British dishes and we are famous for our Sunday roasts which are enjoyed by all the family. Whether it’s a casual catch-up, or celebrating key moments throughout the year, we aim to create a welcoming space that people return to time and time again, a proper home away from home. We’re always looking to grow and build on our reputation, and that starts with our team. We want this to be a place where you want to bring your family and be proud to say 'I work at the Guard House.'
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
