Houston Hot Chicken is all about bold flavor, great people and delivering an unforgettable guest experience. As we continue to grow, we're looking for ambitious Shift Managers to help lead our restaurants and build something special.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive performance, support your team and ensure every shift delivers great food, great service and great results. You'll lead from the front, make decisions with confidence and create an environment where both guests and team members thrive.
What you'll do
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Drive sales performance and maximise opportunities throughout the shift
- Take ownership of service, food quality and operational standards
- Coach and develop team members through on-the-job support and feedback
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
- Support the smooth running of the restaurant, making decisions and solving problems as they arise
- Ensure food safety, health & safety and company standards are maintained at all times
- Manage shift handovers, stock controls and daily operational routines

What we're looking for
- Experience in a supervisory, team leader or shift management position
- A passion for hospitality, food and delivering brilliant service
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Confidence working in a fast-paced restaurant or QSR environment
- Commercial awareness with a focus on delivering results
- A hands-on approach and a willingness to get stuck in wherever needed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
