Supervisor Operations (Remote/Hybrid)
Full-time, based in United Kingdom, Spain, Poland, France, Germany or Netherlands
If you live in the Poland, Warsaw area, you will need to work in-office for 50% of working time monthly. If you are located in the Kraków and Rzeszów areas, you will need to work in-office at least 1 day per week.
In this role, you are responsible for day-to-day management of a travel consultant team, including managing key performance indicators (KPI), workload, providing support and coaching. You are the primary point of contact for the team members and actively coach and develop the team to meet and exceed all performance targets.
As a Supervisor Operations, you will
- Meet and exceed all performance targets and give feedback to the operations manager
- Support, assist and coach travel agents to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Work with performance data to maximum the effectiveness and efficiency of the team
- Take proactive actions to improve internal and external customer satisfaction
- Handle client reservations
- Control and manage customer complaints and general queries
- Control the workload of your team
- Motivate and develop responsibility of team members by constant involvement, coaching and clear appraisal
- Actively participate in the main HR processes: planning, evaluation, coaching and appraisal
- Assists in the hiring and onboarding of new employees
- Expertly uses the appropriate BCD Travel tools and systems to provide coaching and support to the Travel Consultant team
- Strong understanding of a client travel policy and can appropriately guide and consistently provide consultation to the customer
- Maintains knowledge of necessary regulations
- Supports BCD Travel and client driven initiatives
- Anticipates and helps on potential challenges that may arise for the consultant
- Reviews global distribution systems (GDS) queues daily to maintain quality control

About you
- Corporate travel management industry work experience
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
- Advanced skills on GDS Sabre
- People management experience will be an advantage
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Able to work flexible hours, independently, exercising discretion and judgment
- Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem resolution skills
- Strong problem solving and/or critical thinking skills

This position is advertised across multiple European locations. The expected annual gross salary ranges by country are as follows:
- Spain: 30-38k EUR
- France: 33- 45k EUR
- Poland: 103.2-126k PLN
- Germany: 33-62k EUR
- Netherlands: 51-58k EUR
The final salary offered will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and location, and will be determined in line with internal equity.
