Role Description
The Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Glasgow. The Supervisor will support the Store Manager in leading the team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of store presentation and compliance.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Guiding and coaching team members
- Organizing daily tasks and rotas
- Overseeing cash handling
- Monitoring stock levels and merchandising
- Helping implement promotional activity
- Driving sales performance
- Ensuring that health and wellness advice provided in store aligns with Holland & Barrett’s evidence-based standards
- Handling customer queries and escalations
- Supporting new team member onboarding
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and safe working environment
Qualifications
- Experience in retail or customer-facing environments, with proven ability to deliver high-quality, proactive customer service.
- Team leadership skills, including coaching, motivating, and supporting colleagues to achieve store goals.
- Operational skills in areas such as cash handling, stock control, merchandising, and compliance with store procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities to manage priorities, coordinate daily tasks, and respond to changing store needs.
- Interest in health and wellness and willingness to develop knowledge of evidence-based products and services.
- Ability to work on-site in Glasgow on a full-time basis, including flexibility for weekends and peak trading periods.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring colleagues in a retail or similar environment is beneficial; a relevant vocational or professional qualification in retail, management, or customer service is an advantage.
