Morning Hotel Supervisor
We are looking for a warm and welcoming person who would like to take care of our guest after their nights stay with us. If you are someone who thrives on connecting with people, loves hospitality and enjoys rolling up your sleeves then you may be the person I am looking for.
Your Role:
Your day will start at 6:30am and finish at 11am. During this time we would like you to welcome our hotel guests from their nights stay and ensure all of their breakfast needs are met. Our chef on duty will be waiting to cook their first meal of the day whilst you ensure that they are looked after and go on their way having enjoyed your hospitality.
Our Vision?
Ensuring our guests have the best stay where they feel at home. Whether its a night cap or morning breakfast we will ensure that all of our guests leave the Hand & Spear and want to return.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
