Supervisor

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Haringey N17 0FJ

Pay: £39,903 Annually, plus Veolia benefits

What you’ll be doing

  • Ensure agreed operational targets are achieved in respect of Risk & Assurance performance, all accidents, incidents and close calls are reported on AVA
  • Plan and deliver day to day operations (staffing levels, resources, closing out events)
  • Carrying out site inspections and monitoring for VMR and permit compliance
  • Ensure completed work meets quality standards
  • Facilitate visitor and contractor safety, incl permits to work
  • Stop the Job and report any safety issues
  • Lead by example and support the wider management team to show, promote and acknowledge positive behaviours and develop a proactive safety culture
  • Monitoring team & site to ensure safe operations
  • Ensure team are trained and monitored to ensure correct standard of working
  • Keep the team engaged by feeding back on close calls and expect respect reports to develop a proactive safety culture
  • People management (Where required)
  • Undertake personal development to enhance knowledge and skill

Essential

  • Valid HGV CLASS 2 is required
  • Supervisory experience within same/similar role
  • Relationship Management
  • Effective Communication skills
