Summary
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading warehouse operations, personnel, and inventory management to support construction, maintenance, and operations. The Supervisor’s responsibilities include maintaining clean and safe warehouse operations, accurate books and records of inventory, plant assets and equipment balances under the care of VGOS, material preservation in accordance with OEM recommendations and coordinating with internal departments for proactive material appropriation to support construction and operational needs.
General Description Duties & Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain safe, clean, and well operating warehouse facilities and operating equipment.
- Build and lead a warehouse team including Leads and Materials Coordinators.
- Oversee receiving, storage, issuing, return, and transfer activities including Over, Short and Damaged (OS&D) resolution.
- Ensure materials are properly documented, labeled, and preserved.
- Own inventory accuracy, reconciliation, and cycle count programs.
- Ensure proper and timely execution of SAP ERP and Coupa transactions.
- Coordinate with other departments for material management planning and logistics to support project or production goals and timelines.
- Take necessary actions to address variances in material inventory reports, warehouse performance reports and material data quality issues identified within the inventory.
- Establish, monitor, and control warehouse KPIs.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and continued personnel performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in warehouse operations.
- Perform other duties assigned including supporting other initiatives, as appropriate.

Qualifications
Required experience
- 8+ years of LNG or industrial materials management experience in materials coordination, warehouse operations, or inventory control
- 8+ years of warehouse or distribution leadership experience including sourcing, leading, mentoring, supporting, and guiding team members
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Experienced in establishing warehouse design and operational processes and procedures
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and present key details and conclusions
- Ability to work in warehouse, yard, and industrial plant environments,
- Safe and clean driving record
- Periodic domestic USA travel may be required, ~10% as needed
- Work Hours: 7AM – 4PM, Monday – Friday; some overtime and weekend hours may be required
- Must report to office daily and be able to support 24/7 operations with occasional overtime, night and weekend work as required

Preferred Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, military logistics background, or technical training in supply chain, warehouse operations, or related field preferred
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, SAP and Coupa procurement systems is preferred
