Supervisor
Salary – Circa £37,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 40 Hours per week
Location – London, E10 7AS
As a Supervisor at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for overseeing collection services, ensuring safe and efficient operations, delivering high-quality customer service, and supporting operational teams to achieve performance targets.
This vacancy is for a full-time position.

What will you be doing?
- Supervising and co-ordinating waste and recycling collection operations across the borough
- Supporting and motivating operational teams to deliver an efficient and professional service
- Monitoring health, safety, quality and performance standards
- Ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety legislation and company policies
- Conducting safety briefings, licence checks, inductions and staff training
- Supporting investigations, disciplinary processes and performance management activities
- Liaising with local authorities, contractors and other stakeholders
- Promoting recycling, resource efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives
- Completing operational reporting, audits and administration using company systems

What are we looking for?
- Experience in a supervisory role, ideally within waste, logistics, environmental or operational services
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Experience using Microsoft Office and operational systems
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of transport legislation would be advantageous
- A proactive, safety-conscious and customer-focused approach
- Flexibility to work additional hours and participate in an on-call rota when required
