Boxcar Hyde Park
Boxcar Hyde Park is our neighbourhood coffee shop and bakery, sitting just moments from Hyde Park in Connaught Village. Built around great coffee, brilliant baking, and genuinely warm hospitality, it’s a busy little spot with plenty of personality.
The counter is filled with pastries, cakes, and bakes made by our bakery team, alongside breakfast and lunch dishes, sandwiches, and seasonal specials. Coffee is a big part of what we do, with the same focus on quality, consistency, and craft that runs through everything we serve.
We have regulars we know by name, new faces coming through the door every day, and a team that cares about getting the details right.

About the Role
We’re looking for a driven, service-focused Supervisor to join our team at Boxcar Hyde Park. You’ll be passionate about hospitality, confident leading a shift, and comfortable setting the pace on the floor. You’ll support the team, keep standards high, and make sure every guest gets the warm, thoughtful service Boxcar is known for.
As our Supervisor you’ll Be:
- Warm, professional, and attentive with guests
- Confident in a fast-paced, all-day setting
- Skilled in coffee prep, with solid experience in table service
- Passionate about food, wine, and cocktails – and eager to keep learning
- A supportive team player and clear communicator
