Accessory Knitting Supervisor

Location

Hawick Mill

Hours

Permanent, Full-time, 38 hours per week, Dayshift.

Salary

Hourly rate begins at £14.63, with additional consideration given for candidates with extensive or specialised experience.

About the Role

Based in our Hawick knitting mill, you will:

  • be able to prioritise workloads and problem solve issues efficiently working to meet targets and fulfil production schedules
  • deal with issues quickly and efficiently using clear communication and flexibility to adapt to production requirements while working as part of a larger team reporting directly to the Accessories Knitting Manager
  • be responsible for championing the highest quality throughout the team with a good eye for detail

About You

You will:

  • be quality driven demonstrating high attention to detail
  • have previous supervisory experience or manufacturing experience, preferably in a knitting environment
  • be self motivated with strong organisational skills
  • have the ability to supervise and work within a team
  • be computer literate, with prior knowledge of manufacturing systems being advantageous
