Supplier Account Coordinator - Direct Purchasing
Location: Gloucester
Shift Pattern: Hybrid
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Purchasing coordinator to join our Procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials and negotiating with suppliers, to ensure the timely delivery of goods to support business operations.
Safran Landing Systems are a global leader in aircraft landing and braking systems, from commercial and business travel to military and defence fleets.
Our expertise cover the entire life cycle of our products from end-to-end; Design, Engineering & Manufacturing, through to Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO).
Your Role:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for assigned commodities and suppliers.
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service performance.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and value for the business.
- Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance teams.
- Resolve supply chain issues and expedite deliveries to minimise operational disruption.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic procurement projects.
