Your main duties would be:
- Responsible for maintaining adequate stock levels for a designated group of suppliers.
- Performing the daily schedule of purchases ensuring items are purchased within the suppliers' SMOQ’s, buying deals, and freight conditions.
In addition to the above, the role will also involve:
- Monitoring stock deliveries and progressing deliveries with suppliers through a comprehensive chasing system.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal accounts to resolve delivery and invoice queries.
- Assisting sales when needed, in obtaining delivery dates, product info and prices when required.
- Liaising with Warehouse/Stock control when required on any issues relating to stock purchased.
- Verifying purchase order confirmations ensuring correct prices are charged and offer deals are applied.

The person:
- Responsible, able to work on own initiative, flexible, friendly & polite.
- Have the ability to be firm with suppliers when the need arises.
- Good communicator at all levels.
- Able and willing to learn new things.
- Numerate, good IT skills working with Access would be beneficial.
- Good timekeeper, reliable.

The hours:
- Ideally 9am to 5:30pm 37.5 hours per week but some flexibility may be possible.
